Global Mac Filter Error ?

i try to block mac address by adding one mac address to Global Mac Filter , but i got this error
rcGlobalMacFilterRowStatus.0.35.205.217.173.159: The Specified Operation is Not Allowed

what is this mean ?

In order to add the MAC address to the global filter it can't already exist in the FDB table.

You need to temporarily disable the port the device is connected to, flush the MAC/FDB table on the ERS 8600 and then add the MAC entry to the global filter. You can then enable the port.
