Blocking UPNP
« on: April 15, 2010, 10:11:53 AM »
Over the last couple of years I've been seeing a growing amount of UPNP traffic on the network. Since a large number of users are using personal equipment we cannot force them to turn UPNP off, however the increase in broadcast traffic is starting to get bothersome. Is there anyway to block UPNP traffic on the 8600?

You can certainly create a global fiter to block anything you want... there are some caveats depending on the model of card, CPU/SF and the software release you are running.
