SIte Mananger and BCC

I had a little fun yesterday evening working on two BCN routers troubleshooting a Verizon ATM DS-3 circuit.

After the circuit problem was resolved I went about fixing an iBGP issue that was preventing the automated fail-over to a redundant T1 circuit. It was fun recalling all the BCC commands and remembering what I really liked about the interface and what I hated about it. It was cool to see Site Manager fired up yet again. I hadn't used Site Manager in years but in the past it was an everyday tool.

Here are some of the commands;

show bgp peers
That command is pretty self explanatory

show bgp routes
Again this command is pretty self explanatory

show bgp routes -N
This command will show you what routes you are advertising to your peers - very handy!

The joys of a multi-homed BGP configuration.

Cheers!
