Orphan AP Check

Our WMS continually sends out this message and I am unable to find any reference material or trouble shooting guide that tells me what to do or if this is even needs to be repsonded to.

I am interested in what this message means:

Description:  AP with serial number (blahblahblah) exists in the network but is not configured in the plan

Hi trevans,

This message indicates an AP is active on your network but has not been configured in your WLAN to allow wireless service.
Check what ip-address the AP got to locate where it is connected in your network. You can then determine if it is a legitimate AP which hasn't been configured yet, or an AP someone brough within your company and connected it to your network.

We figured out that we have a few rogue AP's floating around in the form of Smartphones. Long as they don't get past the gatekeeper, we will just keep an eye on them.
