I have a WS2000 with firmware version 2.2.3.-020R and one WS2000 with 2.3.0.0-035R. My issue is this: on the 2.2.3 WS2000, I can re-image a Symbol MC9090 with an Airbeam package & it uses FTP and RDP to image the RF Gun. It works like a top. I installed a WS2000 with a copy of the backed 2.2.3 configuration file with a 2.3.0 firmware & the imaging process fails on the RG Gun. It looks like the newer firmware maybe preventing this. I've looked over both WS2000s and don't see any major differences. Am I blind or am I missing something else?
These devices are just past their warranty period with Motorola & they are of no help. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
