What is the Shell password in WS500 1.4.3-012R

After entering service mode on the WS500 and then typing in shell, it asks me for a password.  What is it?
On that note, what things can I do in the Shell......apart from really breaking it.

I don't know that you'll ever get that password but you never know. I don't even think that Motorola/Support has that password only the developers have that password. I will ask some of the Motorola folks.. they might not mind giving it out since 1.4.x has been retired quite sometime ago.

Please see post on maintenance access made Feb 28, 2011 by t045882.

Using the bash shell it is possible to change  the password so you can get access to the maintenance area. Within the bash shell it is also possible to run fsck or the root and repair damages to the filesystem.
