JUNOS 10.x Dual-Root Partitioning Scheme
«

I just unboxed a new Juniper SRX 210 that was pre-installed with JUNOS 10.0R3.10 with a Dual-Root partitioning scheme.
Is it safe to use the same process to upgrade a single-root partitioned system with a dual-root partitioned system?
request system software add
ftp://10.1.1.1/junos-srxsme-10.2R3.10-domestic.tgz
no-copy no-validate
or should I use this command;
request system software add
ftp://10.1.1.1/junos-srxsme-10.2R3.10-domestic.tgz
no-copy no-validate partition
I've intentionally left off the
reboot
because I like to see the results before the router reboots itself.
