I need to dump the built-in karma system and put in a decent reputation/karma mod for SMF.

We've had a lot of great discussion threads over the past 4 months and we need a way to acknowledge those folks that take the time to respond and help each other. A decent reputation/karma solution seems like a decent way of acknowledging those folks.

I'll probably try to drop in the Advanced Reputation System mod by Ha² and Fustrate.

I don't always enjoy playing around with the SMF software. It's probably because I really don't know it as well as I know WordPress or a number of other software packages.

Thoughts?

That wasn't too hard.. had to hack some of the code and 'tweak' the points system along with some of the CSS.

I'm just always amazed at how flexible open source is and how it can be adopted by almost anyone.
