It's still snowing!!!

It's been snowing around here in Southeastern PA since just before dawn, that's about 12 hours now and we have about 12 inches of the white stuff already on the ground... the weather reports are saying between 8 - 14 inches although it looks like we might easily surpass 14 inches around here in Chester County.

I was greeted with a surprise this afternoon when I went out to-do some plowing with the tractor... flat tire! Thankfully I was able to get the bead to seat and inflate the tire, I'll probably need to put some tubes in those tires sometime down the road.

The storm has finally past... I would guess that we got between 18-20 inches of snow.

Thankfully the tractor and plow was able to handle the load!

Looks like there is a possibility for another one of these storms this weekend! I'm a bit south of you. (Newark/Wilmington, DE)
Unfortunately, all I have to clean up the snow is a couple of snow shovels and a MP3 player.

It sounds like we might get some snow Friday night into Saturday morning... I think the weather forecasters are being purposely vague about specifics because they don't want to be wrong. Hopefully as we get closer to Friday they'll come out with some additional information.

For those of folks in the mid-Atlanctic states it looks like we're going to be getting a lot of the white stuff!

I can't believe they are actually closing schools early in my area... the snow isn't expected to start falling until 7PM tonight!

I would guess that there's between 22" and 26" on the ground right now. There's a lot of blowing so some places are low at 12" while others are high at almost 36".

It seems that there's another storm coming toward the East coast for Tuesday night and Wednesday. I've already seen predictions upwards of 18", I'm not sure where we're going to put it all.

Hopefully the warm weather will return quickly and melt all the white stuff!

I've honestly never seen so much snow in one place... thank god for the Cub Cadet!

We received another 22" of the white stuff on Wednesday... it was the most real blizzard I've ever seen.

LOL. Insane. Looks like we're up for the Nor-threester!

In DE we are sitting at around 70" so far since December. I ended up driving up to Boston for a while just to get away from it all!

It's been crazy for sure... I know that southern New Jersey and Delaware have really gotten hit hard.

We'll be in for another round again, although this time it looks like the larger amounts will be to the north of Philadelphia.

Is this storm going to be a bust? Supposedly they are saying by tomorrow morning we might have at least 3" - 6" on the ground. Everything that fell on the asphalt today melted almost immediately. I guess we'll just need to see what tomorrow brings.

We ended up with a lot of the white stuff up here in New York City and Nothern New Jersey.
