I've deleted over 200+ user accounts today that appeared to be involved in SPAM related activity. All of these account had 0 posts on the forum and a large number of them had never logged in past the email verification phase.
We've also started using Stop Forum Spam as a way to check all new user registrations against well known SPAM email addresses and IP addresses.
